Decompose / POEM

Though I weep and growl
like an animal at death’s door.
Should one depart the I,
very thing that saw through me.

Along the shores with thunderous applause,
whistles and cries fills the void of my
true self.
Waves of overwhelming disgust
engulfs the soil.
It is the other
that craves for my utter destruction.

These are my kindles
and here are my flames.
Sins I brought with me
puts all who witness to shame.
Mutilated bodies of those in limbo
gives me comfort.
Silent lament for my eternal slumber.
